uses, and protects your information. maiz is a shopping‑list and meal‑planning
app that lets a household share weekly shopping lists, meal plans, and a pantry.
By using maiz you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect only what the app needs to work. We do not sell your data, show
ads, or use third‑party advertising or analytics trackers.
a. Information you provide
- Email address. Used solely to sign you in. maiz uses a one‑time code sent
to your email — we do not store a password.
- Display name (optional). Shown to other members of your household.
- Content you create. Shopping lists, meal plans, recipes/meals, pantry
items, quantities, categories, household names, and invite codes.
b. Information created through use
- Household membership. Which household you belong to and your role
(owner or member), so the right people can see the right list.
- Timestamps attached to the items you create or change, used to sync and
merge changes between household members.
c. Information we do not collect
maiz does not request or access your location, camera, photos, microphone,
contacts, or advertising identifiers. The only device permission the app uses is
internet access, which is required to sync your data.
